I was diagnosed with a rare form of stage 3 Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma that effected my bone marrow in 1995 and treated soon there after. Then I went into complete remission for at least 3 and a half years after treatment. About 4 years later, and when I just began graduate school, I began experiencing symptoms again (and they were worse) but the physician and hospital responsible for diagnosing and treating me refused to give me copies of my cancer files so I have no proof of ever being diagnosed/treated. All of the physicians who have refused to perform a biopsy since are physicians at Hackley Hospital in my hometown of Muskegon, Michigan. I plan to post pictures of my skin later so you can let me know what you think. Though I have complained about my painful symptoms for years and have offered to pay out of pocket for a biopsy even though I now have Medicare, the physicians in this area seem to not care to investigate if I am having a recurrence of NHL. The main reason I am going to blog is because I believe this is a tragic abuse of power and plan to expose them. And, if they can do this to me, they can do it to someone else too, if they so choose.
